How It Works

We think it's quite simple, but we also know that it is not that simple the first time you use a new system. Read through this page and get a good understanding of how it works.

  1. 1 First you need to create a template. Open the document you wish to use in Word. To be able to ask sender or receiver for information you need to replace the space/text with a placeholder. Once you’re done, upload your document to AuthorizeDoc. A setup wizard will help you after you’ve uploaded the document.
  2. 2 Now you’re ready to create your document. Select the template you wish to use and fill out any information you have assigned to the “sender” (you). The rest of information will be filled out by the person/s you are sending the document to. Send the document.
  3. 3 All parties involved will be prompted to review and sign the document via email. You will be able to track who have done what in the system.
  4. 4 Once signed by all, the document is created, and a link to download is sent to everyone. Finished! Everyone now have a copy of their electronically seal document.

AuthorizeDoc templates

A template is a word based document. You build it by replacing space/text with placeholders to gather information from users and produce the final document. For example: By replacing all the changeable text – e.g., names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. – with placeholders, the system generates questions based on those, which are asked to the person you have assigned it to. So as mentioned before, by replace the text/space for a name and assigning it to the one who receives the document, they will be asked to fill in their name.
